December, 2003 : THIS is registered in the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, following Section (4) of Association Registration Act 2034 B.S., registration number 459/059/060 B.S. THIS is also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council following Section 13 of the Social Welfare Council Act 2049 B.S., affiliation number 14304 and is registered with the NGO Federation Nepal, registration number 159.After the completion of official establishment of THIS, DB and Babita contacted their friends abroad by email and post, visited people suggested by their friends and friends of friends. After 8 months of constant effort they were fortunate to receive a grant from UNESCO Kathmandu for Community Learning Centre (CLC) Project
